150 Wishes Granted with Much More To Do! We work closely with the pediatric oncology teams at Children’s Hospital of Orange County, Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach, Kaiser in Anaheim, Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego who manage the care of all pediatric patients whom cancer relapses. Wishes are granted by our fabulous volunteers and we couldn’t do it without their time and expertise. This is just the beginning of GRANTS WISHES and with your help we can make more 2nd wishes come true.

Allison & Elle run Half Marathon to Benefit Grants Wishes
On October 17, Allison & Elle are running the Nike Women’s Half Marathon in San Francisco to help raise enough money to grant one wish. Both young ladies attend El Modena High School and have walked in the past with our GRANTS WISHES CHOC Walk Team. Thank you to Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill in Tustin
On July 14th Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill on 17th and Tustin Ave. began with Ralph Rubio cutting the red ribbon with the presence of the Santa Ana Chamber and lots of our supporters. Everyone enjoyed wonderful food and beverages for their soft opening. $1600.00 was raised in 2 hours time. A special Thank you to Rubio’s for selecting GRANTS WISHES to be the charity of choice for the evening.

Toys for CHOC
A special Thank You to Ryan and his party guests whom donated gift cards for teenagers and toys in lieu of birthday gifts. We have made deliveries to CHOC for 7 years filling treasure boxes regularly with the help of Michele Adair. Our deliveries usually fill all the treasures chests in the clinics and outpatient services at CHOC. We also delivered boxes of larger toys, boxes full of crayons and markers for the oncology clinic. We have been collecting wrapped Happy Meal Toys for the treasure boxes at CHOC since 2003. We’d love to have your help too. If you would like to donate toys, please contact us.

Mc Beth Foundation Grant
A special thank you to the Mc Beth Foundation as we are fortunate to receive large grants in 2008 and 2009 to fund wishes 35 wishes in 2009 and 2010. We qualify for grants like this because of our low overhead costs. Our events are designed to pay for themselves as well as overhead costs. 100% of the Grant funds given to GRANTS WISHES will be used to fund wishes and we Thank them for their support because they make it possible for us to continue to grant wishes..
