| Our first attempt to expand outside of southern California began in November 2007, Max & Tamra Rogers owners of Max's Gallery in Elk Grove took on fundraising efforts and volunteer ism to make wishes come true. An agreement was then made between GRANTS WISHES and the U.C. Davis Children's Hospital in Sacramento to identify a few Pediatric Oncology patients being treated that meet the following criteria for the GRANTS WISHES PROGRAM: |
1. The pediatric patient must be referred to GRANTS WISHES by a member of the oncology team.
2. The referred pediatric patient must have recurring or long term cancer.
3. The pediatric patient must have already received a wish from another organization or not qualify for one from any other wish organization.

The Oncology team at U.C. Davis Children's Hospital in Sacramento expects to request a few wishes for qualified children within the next few years as this is our first experience with expansion outside southern California. We have granted one wish in 2008 and one in 2009.
